Blessed Day

We had Isaac's baby blessing today. It was a fabulous day. I am so grateful to have a worthy Priesthood holder in our home and to have such wonderful family close by. These boys are so lucky to have Mike as their daddy; he sets such a good example for them.

It's official, on the records of the church, Isaac is now Isaac River Cox. You always wonder if your husband is really going to say the right name when he goes up there, and he did! Isaac's blessing was wonderful. He was blessed to learn early in life that all knowledge comes from the Spirit. He was also blessed to continue to develop his sweet personality (Isaac is already one happy, smiley baby), and that he would learn to serve the Lord and find joy in service.

Baby Isaac, you've been given a wonderful blessing and are set up for a happy, joyful life. I hope we can help you see that.

We had a lot of family come celebrate this day with us. Both sets of grandparents came down, as well as all of Mike's siblings and their families, and my sister Carol came (and Melanie, but she counts as Mike's family too). We had a little luncheon at our house afterward and Eli loved being able to play with all of his cousins. Isaac loved getting snuggled by his grandmas and aunts. We are so grateful for such wonderful, supportive family who came to celebrate this day with us.
