Jan. - Feb. Randomness

Mike had the day off for Presidents' Day so we went on our first family bike ride. We all had a fantastic time!

Isaac and Olivia riding in style.

We stopped at a few parks and let the kids play. I was really impressed with how well Eli did being out and riding for several hours.

This is we entertain ourselves at the doctors office. Mom with a baby on my lap, pulling the doctor's chair around with me feet, while one boy rides on it and the other spins him and tries to spank his bum. It kept us entertained for a while.
Don't worry. Both boys got a turn.

Snuggles.

Then there was that one time we saw The King (from the Disney movie Cars) at the gas station near our house.
Then we got to meet him! Well, we met the owner at least. And took a pic with these happy boys. (Sorry Olivia, you're still in the car on the other side of the pump). The boys still talk about this! Pure awesomeness.
Isaac trying on some of mommy's makeup. That's cover up kid, not lip stick.
These cute bathing babies are always cracking each other up.
Thumb sucking snuggle babies.
One mommy; two babies. They have to share.
Cousins and ice cream!

Then there was that one time it rained and Isaac got up really early and pulled the kitchen chair all the way to the front door and unlocked the high child-proof lock. All so he could see the rain. (Because it had been over 70 days since it last rained, it's rare here.) And we woke up to find this scene, with the front door wide open. Thankfully he didn't wander the neighborhood!

Happy First Birthday Olivia!

Olivia turned one! I know everyone says it, but where did the year go? Where did my baby go? She is so tiny and not walking yet, that it was easy to pretend she's just an infant, but truth is she is ONE now!
We have early church on Sunday, so I made birthday cake pancakes for breakfast on Saturday. She was a big fan!

Wearing her birthday church outfit, with the same bow she wore going home from the hospital. And a pretty necklace!

With her second momma...Aunt Melanie takes Olivia every week during Sunday School while Mommy and Daddy teach. They love each other!

Olivia's birthday present...a new kitchen!

She likes it, and the boys LOVE it!

Olivia had a lot of cousins come to see her open presents--Aunt Melanie and Aunt Carol and their families, and Grandma Cox.

The cake....chocolate raspberry cake made by Daddy!

She insists on eating with a spoon. Very lady-like of her.

Still wearing the 0-3 month onesie!

End of birthday snuggles with Mommy. Happy birthday Livy Lou, we love you!
