Olivia's Blessing

We had Olivia's blessing in church last Sunday, the 14th. (General Conference was the previous week, so the 14th was our ward's fast Sunday.) We were blessed to have a lot of family come into town and enjoy a wonderful day. Mike's parents and all of his siblings, as well as all of my sisters and parents came for the occasion. I mean, Olivia is pretty cute, so any excuse to see her is worth the drive, right?

Mike, unfortunately, was pretty sick, but he still did a fantastic job. And in our giant ward there was actually only one other baby blessing that day! Wow! And we got to church a half our early so we were able to sit inside the chapel, too. Wow, again!

So, sweet little Olivia, this is what you were blessed with.

First, you were blessed to know your family loves you unconditionally and without question. Which I hope will be obvious to you throughout your life, but right now when little Isaac doesn't exactly have the softest touch, I think the reassurance is good.
You were blessed with physical health, that your body could bear you up throughout your life and with whatever you face.
You were blessed to gain a testimony early on and to be a missionary anywhere you go.
And you were blessed to know true happiness comes only through the gospel and to help others know that as well.

All in all, a very powerful, very wonderful blessing for a very sweet, very wonderful baby girl. Oh, and it is official, you are Olivia Catherine Cox!
