Olivia is 11 months

Olivia turned 11 months old and is tinier than ever…well almost. All the kids got terrible colds and hers made her not want to eat for several days. All she would go is nurse and then cough and then vomit it all back up. So she lost a little weight. Now she fits in the tiny 0-3 month onesie better than ever. :).

Other fun facts for this 11 month old. She loves cars and playing with her brothers more than anything. Isaac can get her laughing better than anyone. She's a complete daddy's girl now. She can sign more and all done and just started folding her arms for prayers, which is unbelievably adorable. She says "daddy" all the time, "mommy" sometimes, and whispers "hi" a lot. She yells at her brothers if they take something from her. She enjoys her walker from Christmas and is cruising furniture with ease now. And she just got her second tooth the week she turned 11 months!

January snapshots

One day I turned around and this girl was climbing things!

Three babies in swings at the firetruck park.

One morning Eli brought all of the stuffed animals out and set them up on the couch so they could watch Jake and the Neverland Pirates with him.

Then he insisted that they all had to stay there, so we weren't allowed on the couch.

She likes cars more than girl or baby toys.

"Look, Mom, I a birdie!" Sweet, sweet Isaac.

Isaac made it through the night with out a binki or a bottle! (He didn't have a choice since we took them away, but he did it!) And he got a new car!

Winter in AZ is wonderful. Summer is not.

Riding the carousel at the mall.

One day Eli had this in his homework packet.  He's usually really good about doing homework, but he threw a big fit over this...exclaiming, "But I don't even know what a snowflake looks like! We don't have those here!" AZ kid problems.

I tried to start a morning worout routine while Eli was at school. Isaac started one too. It's called throw cars at Mommy while she works out. He even brought the chair in for better aim.

Olivia wanted to join the workout too.

One time Eli started playing t-ball and his Mommy took him out to the field by our house to practice. After an hour of practice his Mommy said, "Eli, look how far I can hit this ball." Then Eli ran across the field as his Mommy hit the ball. He watched it the whole way...as it sailed right into his face.  But he says he still likes t-ball. I hope he still likes his Mommy, too!

So sorry, Eli!

Christmas etc.…

Eli checking out his stocking.

Isaac found a truck!

Daddy's new Batman cufflinks!

What did you find, Olivia?

Isaac got a new Leappad, just like Eli. He didn't realize it was a new one until much later in the day when he saw we had two Leappads!

Busy, fun, Christmas day. No it's time for a Christmas nap.

We tried to go out shopping some after-Christmas sales a day later. The kids didn't make it to the first store before they all fell asleep. Turns out they were all getting sick.

Sick baby with super goopy eyes. So sad.

Mommy and the kids went up to Grandma and Granpa Romney's for New Years and Jude (and family) was there!

Backyard Bubbles

The weather is finally starting to change. We spent a lovely afternoon in our backyard chasing bubbles, looking at clouds, and enjoying the not-scorching weather.

Isaac was still napping, so Elijah had the bubbles all to himself.

And Olivia found the lid.

Now he's trying to catch the bubbles with his mouth.
Found one!
What are these things, Mom?

Isaac woke up!
Elijah kept getting rose petals and pretending to be a football player.
Bubbles!

Love Isaac's eyebrows here. That is excitement!

And finally Daddy came home!
