Sunday Mornings

We have 1pm church right now, so Sunday mornings are perfect for making pancakes or waffles. And I usually have lots of help in the kitchen when making them. This is what this morning looked like.

Eli asked me to put Isaac's bib on him. Then he filled it up with corn chex and walked around eating them while he did things.

Makin' waffles!

Eli was very helpful in adding all the ingredients and mixing the batter...between taking bites of corn chex, of course.

Sickies

We've had a house full of sick kids this past week...and parents too. But somehow the parents don't get to lay around and nap all day like these kids do. I've never seen Eli so inactive before...ever. Isaacs been taking two naps a day, and poor little Olivia even has a fever. Sad days.

After a couple days with a fever, she finally has smiles again!

Sweaty baby when his fever finally broke.

All these sickies keep sleeping in my bed.

That's Life

Isaac's been doing his hair lately. This 'do is sponsored by Rosita's refried beans.

Everyone eats dinner with two boys on their lap, right?

The cuties all together.

Eli loves his sister.

This is how Eli has been taking naps lately. Falling asleep on me on the couch. I can't imagine this being comfortable, but he slept for a long time that way.

This is how Isaac takes a nap when Mommy decides to go on a long walk. He's been booted to the back of the sit-n-stand stroller, so it's not the most comfortable place to nap.

Outside Adventures

The boys live for playing outside.

Rainy days? Flooded yard? These boys thing it's perfect!

Nothing's better than monster trucks and mud and goop!

Olivia's first walk

Isaac's first time in the back of the sit-n-stand.

Big brother Eli waiting for us to catch up.

Isaac had a meltdown at the park and I got to carry him home while pushing the stroller, only two weeks after my c-section. Not the most fun I've had.

Easter

The Easter Bunny brought us something extra special this year...the flu! Before we all get sick we managed to have some fun. Besides, we don't have to be healthy to remember the real reason to celebrate, the resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

On Saturday we went to our ward Easter breakfast. It was Olivia's first trip to a ward thing and she got a lot of oohs and aahs. She's pretty adorable. The boys had a great time playing at the park and finding Easter eggs.

On Friday Eli and Isaac helped dye the Easter eggs. Well, Isaac ate one while Eli picked all the colors for the eggs. Good boys, good fun.

This is how Olivia helped me and the boys decorate the Easter eggs. It was the first time I put her in the baby sling and she LOVED it! She gave me the biggest smile, snuggled up, and fell asleep. Guess I'll be using this a lot more.

The loot. Eli was very specific that the pink basket was his. He even used that one to do the ward Easter egg hunt on Saturday.

I didn't get any pictures from the ward Easter egg hunt (Mike did!) but I got some of the two boys in our front yard afterward. Since we all ended up getting sick that night, this is as close to getting pics of them in Easter outfits that I got.

28 days

Happy one month Olivia! I'm going to try (to remember) to take a pic of her in the same onesie and on the same blanket each month. This is her first time in 0-3 month clothes. She still fits newborn clothes and diapers. So tiny and cute!

When the Cat's Away

The mice will play. Or, in my case, when the mommy is nursing the boys will cause trouble. Especially Isaac. We woke up to a nice spring rainstorm this morning. As soon as I started feeding Olivia, this boy slipped out the doggie door...still in his pj's  I knew he'd be soaked by the time I got to him, so I let him go play while I finished nursing Olivia. He wasn't phased by the rain one bit. In fact, I think he loved it. He's an outside junkie.
