Life

Life happens, especially when you have plans. Like going to a friend's baby shower, or looking forward to an evening watching new shows with your husband, or taking family pictures in a week. Life tends to make a mark at these times. Tonight, when I had all these plans, this is the mark life made on Elijah's face. I heard the scream as I had one hand on the door headed to the baby shower. I guess he tumbled off my bed and met the nightstand on the way down. When life happens, plans change. And mommy and daddy get lots if snuggles. He's a tough kid, though. And he liked playing Doc McStuffins with mommy.
